One of the most celebrated films of 2017, Hull Film Festival presents a special outdoor screening of LA LA LAND at Stage @The Dock

Winner of 6 Academy Awards including Best Director for writer/director Damien Chazelle and winner of a record-breaking 7 Golden Globe Awards, LA LA LAND is more than the most acclaimed movie of the year – it’s a cinematic treasure for the ages and a vibrant celebration of hope, dreams and love.

LA LA LAND tells the story of Mia (Emma Stone), an aspiring actress, and Sebastian (Ryan Gosling), a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.
